Prometheus imbued Man with ingeniousness, indefatigable optimism and grit in service of great vision.
He represents the spirit of innovation and courage for the purpose of building, for the inborn nobility which elevates humanity to monumental thinking and achievement.
His symbol is THE ARCHETYPAL AMERICAN SYMBOL.
His symbol also profoundly describes the Bay and its technology leadership, which is the spearpoint for Western leadership of the technological future more broadly.
There is no more fresh, vital, and inspiring figure than Prometheus for the future about to unfold and the Renaissance in which we must embark.
WHY ALCATRAZ?
The jewel in the heart of the most beautiful harbor in the world…
…purpose-built for glorious optimism…
is yet squandered.
Alcatraz Prison is an historically uninteresting, defunct and dilapidated Ceaucescu-style side-show. An unworthy use of such a gift.
Today it symbolizes bleakness and regression, of what happens to a city and a society when ideological degeneration takes root. A mockery of our people and our ways.
We have the singular opportunity today to build a symbol of beauty and heroism that will stand 1,000 years.

From initial encounters with fire, forge, and mythopoetic vision, through to real-time, interactive experiences with today’s frontier technologies, the museum is an encounter with the very spirit of human potential and achievement.

Each of four main sections calibrated for great psychic and symbolic effect—from mythic reflection to cutting-edge realism, igniting in each visitor the emotional recognition of their own Promethean nature to equip them with examples of its expression in the world.
Valorizing ingenuity, big thinking, bold action, the internal sense of beauty which impels industriousness, and the courage and tenacity to build great works.

The Prometheion Museum unlike any other aims to showcase our civilizational vibrance as a anchor for a new American Renaissance and a quantum leap in American prosperity.
The museum design harmonizes with the natural landscape, flowing organically around the island, encased in elegant greenery found elsewhere in San Francisco, and incorporates cutting-edge sustainable features, such as tidal energy from the Bay.
These exhibits aim to illustrate the way the Promethean process has given life to Western Civilization in the lived experience of discoverers, entrepreneurs, inventors, etc.
By tracing the lives of historic figures, showing artifacts of their inventions and successes, we aim to enroll each visitor to forge great Promethean triumphs of his own.
PROMENADE ACROSS GREEN LAWNS OF RENAISSANCE
Our goal is to invoke the spirit of Promethean power in the visitor, and have them look upwards at the greatness of the statue and feel the resonance of greatness in their own being.
The Prometheion will convene the leaders of industry, science, finance, and culture who are actively shaping the next century. A curated cultural campaign designed to accelerate technological adoption, inspire civilizational pride, and give visible form to the new American spirit of prosperity and creative self-direction.

American Colossus is building the country’s bold beacon of optimism and human triumph: the Great Colossus of Prometheus on Alcatraz. A Monument to American Manifest Destiny, to the liberating force of technology and entrepreneurship, and to the noble destiny of the West.
Standing taller than the Statue of Liberty, our Monument inaugurates a new golden age, revering creativity and the heroic nature of Man. It unapologetically symbolizes a brilliant, optimistic American future, calling us to visionary thinking, bold achievement, and forging this new world into a powerful ideal. It also marks the reclamation of our society from forces of desecration and collective mediocrity.
The Monument reaffirms independence, individual agency, and freedom with a new brand of American self-determination, scaled upward to meet an emerging accelerationist atomic and space age. It champions the pursuit of happiness as the perennial American covenant.
Prometheus, the Titan of innovative progress, will inspire 1,000 years of Americans to overcome for the sake of nobility, beauty and creative endeavor.

Ross is a digital asset entrepreneur and founder of Parhelion Corp, a digital asset mining and bitcoin-focused venture studio. His work has been defined by a passion for the institution of sound money and that contributing to reengineering the monetary order is the most powerful and moral way to restore humanity’s creative genius.
For 15 years, Ross has relentlessly sought opportunities emerging from monetary dislocation around the world. Prior to Parhelion Ross was the founder/manager of Agrigentum Capital, a global macro manager in currencies, volatility and emerging market equity which was the first hedge fund strategy comprehensively rooted in the Austrian School of Economics. Agrigentum began experiments with Bitcoin mining in 2013 and in 2017 developed technology targeting the reinvention of the petrodollar. Ross is also the manager of Shadowline Capital, a builder of boutique properties which seek to instill poetic sensemaking for a fragmenting world.

JASON REZA JORJANI, PhD
Director
Jason Reza Jorjani, PhD is a philosopher from New York City. He received his BA and MA from New York University, and his PhD in Philosophy from the State University of New York (Stony Brook).
Jorjani is the author of a dozen books. His first book, Prometheus and Atlas won the 2016 Book Award of the Parapsychological Association. He is also a member of the Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE).
Jorjani has taught courses on Science, Technology, and Society (STS), the History of Philosophy, Heidegger, Comparative Religion, and the History of Iran at several universities in Greater Gotham.

DARIO MUTABDZIJA
Director
Dario Mutabdzija is a dynamic entrepreneur, international attorney and blockchain-focused venture investor.
He was born in Sarajevo, experiencing the violence of the Bosnian War. As an immigrant to the United States he earned a BS from the University of Hawaii and a joint-JD from McGeorge School of Law and the University of Salzburg, Austria. In 2011 Dario launched the Blueseed Seasteading project and was legal director for the Seasteading Institute.
